Mr.Dhairya Chhajerh
Managing Director
No one can prepare you for starting a business from the ground up. It’s a journey, an adventure and a private growth challenge like nothing you’ll ever experience. We would be lying if we said it was all sunshine and roses. There have been times we questioned why we’d allow us to be put through this, but at the end of the day, we wouldn’t trade it for anything in the world.
Our Director Mr. Dhairya Chhajerh belongs to the family of the textile business for over almost 3 decades but he wanted to do something more creative in the field of the export market. While he was studying at Mumbai University, he saw a huge demand for Indian furniture and home products. However, he couldn’t find any Indian brand fulfilling that requirement. Hence, he thought of starting something in this niche. He started his business at the age of 21, with an aim to promote Indian products.
One of the main objectives for every business is to make profits and grow with time. But, he feels fortunate because of the fact that when we profit, the great and talented artisans too get benefited. We always endeavour to empower the local artisans of India. Similarly, our business partners or retail buyers, too, contribute to the growth of these artisans who earn their livelihood through our business.
Entering into any business can be challenging in any field. Even if you don’t have the formal training, you can make up for it with passion and hard work—just like he did. In just a span of 5 years, with all ups and downs, he has able to build a firm that not only promotes Indian products but also support local artisans for their work and living.
